Project overview
Lead IT–OT integration for a lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant, driving MES implementation (preferably Dassault Systèmes DELMIA Apriso) and integrating PLC/SCADA, shop-floor equipment, and IoT platforms with MES and enterprise systems. The role focuses on designing secure, reliable, scalable integration using industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT) and APIs (REST), enabling real-time monitoring, traceability, and data-driven optimization while coordinating across IT, OT, automation, manufacturing, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT–OT integration across manufacturing systems, industrial automation, and enterprise applications.
- Drive MES implementation and integration, preferably with Dassault Systèmes DELMIA Apriso MES.
- Integrate PLCs, SCADA, shop-floor equipment, and IoT platforms with MES and enterprise systems.
- Design and implement interfaces using OPC UA, REST APIs, MQTT, and other industrial communication protocols.
- Drive digital manufacturing, real-time production monitoring, traceability, and data-driven process optimization.
- Collaborate with IT, OT, automation, manufacturing, and external technology partners.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable integration architecture across plant operations.
- 10–15 years of experience in IT–OT integration, MES, industrial automation, or digital manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in IT and OT integration, MES, Industrial IoT, and Industry 4.0.
- Good knowledge of OPC UA, APIs, MQTT, PLC/SCADA, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience in manufacturing system integration, shop-floor connectivity, and production data acquisition.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
