Project overview

We are looking for an IT Project Manager SAP MES Rollout (m/f/d).

Project goal: Rollout of the SAP DM-based MES template solution to the factories in Sweden and the UK. Investigation of local requirements and matching them with the modular solution space of the MES solution. Coordination of all IT-related aspects of design, build, test, data migration, cutover, and hypercare, as well as development and implementation of communication, change management, and training plans to ensure a smooth adoption of SAP DM.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the project in project-specific coordination with the Business Project Manager.
• Planning of project phases, including country-specific work packages, and coordination of the project plan with Team Leads, Business Core Team members, and all relevant stakeholders.
• Covering all usual project management disciplines, in particular managing the project schedule, detailed work plan, risks, issues, budget, costs, testing, and cutover.
• Alignment of the overall project timeline with relevant stakeholders, in particular Business Core Team members, Template SPOCs, and others.
• Ensuring the alignment of the IT infrastructure setup and managing design approvals in compliance with the MES IT guidelines.
• Engagement and coordination of external partners and consultants for project-specific tasks.
• Ensuring adherence to the client's IT project methodology, including fulfilling Quality Gate requirements, and regularly documenting project status and progress.
• Preparation and moderation of Steering Committee meetings, ensuring all decisions are documented and actionable.
• Coordination of dependencies with other projects and the Template team.
• Technical coordination of the rollout of specific end-to-end processes.
• Ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals.
• Addressing scope changes and adjusting timelines or resources as necessary to meet project milestones.
• Ensuring strict adherence to data protection and cyber security regulations.
• Coordination with country-specific projects or deliverables that may affect the final setup or configuration.
• Conducting end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure a smooth adoption of the new systems and processes.
• Technical coordination of local teams and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
• Systematic scope change management and application of risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Project language: German and English

Remote share: 90 %

• Experienced IT Project Manager.
• Strong background in SAP DM.
• Project management experience in MES projects.
• Experience in agile projects with user stories and Jira.
• Experience in global organizations with cross-functional teams working on process harmonization.
• Several full-cycle projects as IT Project Manager.
• Experience in complex projects with complex governance structures and many stakeholders with different objectives.
• Excellent German and English language skills (mandatory).
• Excellent communication skills at all stakeholder levels.
• Proven experience in the technical coordination of teams and in managing stakeholder expectations.
• Experience in developing change management and training strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict management capabilities.
