Java Kotlin Developer (e-commerce)

Development of an e-commerce project for a client that is one of the largest companies in this sector in the country.

Our expectations

Main responsibilities

• Min. 4 years of experience as a Software Developer
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Kotlin, alongside hands-on experience with the Spring and Micronaut frameworks
• Degree in a technical field (STEM discipline preferred)
• Deep understanding of JVM execution, memory management, and performance tuning
• Proven experience with search technologies, specifically Apache Solr and Elasticsearch, preferably within the Adtech domain
• Solid background in microservices architecture and working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes, coupled with strong adherence to TDD, unit testing, and integration testing practices
• Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Willingness to occasionally visit the client's office in Warsaw, subject to prior arrangement
• Software development within a development team using agile methodology
• Participation in team meetings and collaborative creation and execution of assigned tasks
• Active involvement in delivering increasingly better programming solutions throughout the full project lifecycle — code reviews, testing others’ changes, deployment, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and creating documentation
