Junior Android - Testing and Quality Assurance

Summary

This role focuses on managing testing and quality assurance for Android applications within the MIB4, HCP3, and ICC platforms, ensuring continuous quality and development of software products.

Responsibilities

• Manage test processes and quality assurance procedures for Android applications.
• Participate in daily team meetings and technical alignments.
• Communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies proactively.
• Handle assigned work packages independently.
• Escalate critical issues to designated contacts in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with international development teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Jira for project management.
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience in Android application development and tooling (e.g., ADB, ADB shell, scrcpy).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and development processes using Jenkins.
• Experience in root cause analysis and ticket handling.
• Good spoken and written English skills.
• Ability to work in an accountable and self-directed manner.
• Experience working in international development teams.

Nice to have

Must have had development experience and Polaroid experience.

Other Details

Position is open for remote work with a flexible duration. Ideal for candidates with a passion for quality assurance and testing in mobile applications.

• Hands-on experience with Polarion for test case management.
• Experience in test execution and defect analysis.
• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Kotlin programming.
• Understanding of Android applications and their tooling.
• Experience in unit, integration, or UI testing.
