Job Title: Laboratory Technician

The Lab Technician / Assistant is responsible for maintaining and servicing diagnostic laboratory equipment and slide scanning systems in support of laboratory experiments, research activities, and sample testing.

• Support laboratory experiments and research activities.
• Prepare lab materials and samples for testing.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
• Assist with data collection and documentation.
• Maintain lab inventory and equipment.
• Previous experience with equipment maintenance.
• Experience with hand tools.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining and servicing diagnostic or laboratory equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing directly with the public.
• Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.
