Lead AI Engineer — Agents LLM in production

Project overview

Ever"T — Native AI tech consulting firm, innovative and in hypergrowth — is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to drive the technical vision for a scope of LLM agents within a high-volume French tech player.

The Context

You will join a team of 12 AI Engineers, built around a clear model: each engineer is embedded directly into a business team, in contact with users. No isolated labs, no dormant prototypes — what is built goes into production and serves real use cases.

The team is young, with a very high technical level, and the foundations are largely yet to be laid: agent patterns, evaluation standards, industrialization, shared practices. This is precisely where your role makes sense — you will structure as much as you build.

The Project

Lead an LLM agent scope end-to-end for a business team (creative/marketing or customer relations universe, depending on the chosen scope): framing with stakeholders, agent architecture design, production deployment, evaluation, iteration — and technical maturity development for the team on these topics.

Responsibilities

• Define the agent architecture for your scope: orchestration, tools, state management, retrieval strategies
• Design and deploy multi-step LLM agents with LangGraph, and reliable RAG chains
• Provide technical leadership to other engineers: design and code reviews, skill development, arbitration
• Establish standards: evaluation, non-regression, observability, industrialization best practices
• Continuously arbitrate quality / cost / latency / complexity trade-offs, and be able to defend them
• Be the key contact for business teams: frame vague needs, prioritize, simplify, measure delivered value
