Lead Security Engineer Cybersecurity & NIS2 (detach.)

Project overview

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Monitor and improve the security requirements of applications within the Large Consumer & Grid value chain
• Perform risk and threat analyses for new or modified functionalities
• Implement security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
• Support DevOps teams with secure coding, access management, and encryption
• Automate security tests and compliance checks within CI/CD processes
• Oversee compliance with the Integral Framework and relevant laws and regulations, including NIS2
• Guide development teams in applying Security by Design
• Translate security policies and regulations into concrete measures for development teams
• Coach teams to take responsibility for their cyber resilience
• Promote knowledge sharing and security awareness within the organization
• HBO work and thinking level
• Extensive experience in ICT and at least three years of experience in a similar security role
• Familiarity with information security, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management
• Background with NIS2 or similar compliance and security guidelines
• Practical experience with SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Experience with automated execution of checks and tests within CI/CD environments
• Knowledge of application security, encryption, and identity & access management
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with guiding or coaching teams in change or improvement processes related to security, compliance, or quality
• Organizational sensitivity and persuasive skills to connect stakeholders
