Seeking a Linux Administrator and ITOP CMDB Referent for a strategic project to structure and modernize an information system. The role involves setting up a unified CMDB and administering Linux environments.
Project overview
As part of a strategic project to structure and modernize the information system of one of our major clients, we are looking for a Linux Administrator / ITOP CMDB Referent.
Your missions
You will be involved in a project to implement a unified CMDB intended to centralize all IT assets in datacenters and improve overall visibility of the information system.
ITOP CMDB Repository
Participate in the design and deployment of a centralized CMDB based on ITOP.
Install, configure, and administer the technical components of the solution.
Deploy and integrate inventory tools such as OCS Inventory.
Build and maintain the IT asset mapping.
Structure the relationships and dependencies between the different components of the IS.
Define and implement the workflows associated with the CMDB.
Perform technical diagnostics and ensure the operational maintenance of the solutions.
Support teams in the use and population of the repository.
Become the technical CMDB referent for the various IT teams.
Linux Administration
Administer and maintain Linux environments.
Participate in the integration and operation of management and supervision tools.
Contribute to the automation of administration tasks.
Provide expert-level technical support for system components.
SYMPA Application
Participate in the functional administration of the SYMPA application.
Manage mailing lists and associated alerts.
Monitor requests in a project mode.
Technical environment
Linux, ITOP, OCS Inventory, EasyVista, Jira, Confluence, Datacenter & IT Infrastructure
Profile sought:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration.
Significant experience in setting up or deploying a CMDB.
Experience with ITOP is a real asset.
Knowledge of SYMPA is appreciated but not mandatory.
