Amsterdam Westpoort, Thursday fixed office day. 2 days a week at the contractor in Grootebroek. Other days at other locations / hybrid. Submit CVs in Dutch. We are looking for a Manager Project Control for the MS work packages department, Programma Helix, who not only masters numbers and processes but can also inspire and motivate a team.

You will do this on location at the contractor (region Kop&West Friesland and Zaanstreek), at the Amsterdam Westpoort site. You will be on location 3 days a week, with Thursday being at Westpoort. This is how you contribute to a more sustainable energy network in the Netherlands. This is a 32-40 hour position. You will make the network more organized at Alliander. In this role, you are an important link within the team and ensure that all aspects of project control come together seamlessly within Programma Helix. You are responsible for identifying and managing (integral) risks.

Together with the project control employees, you monitor the current status of the control aspects. This includes monitoring project assignments and scope management, financial management, planning management, information management, document management, risk & quality management. You bring blind spots within project control to attention and translate your findings into clear proposals for decision-making. From your central role, you keep internal and external stakeholders well informed of what is happening and empower them.

You are also the point of contact for change teams and responsible for the implementation of developed changes that have an interface with project control. We are creating the energy network of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a manager of project control, you will contribute to this. You will also be working on:

• Implementing quality standards in the program and ensuring their adherence.
• Ensuring that project control employees in the parcel teams know which standards their products must meet and that their reports and work comply with the process and standards, which are sometimes still under development.
• Ensuring up-to-date reports and (financial) analyses that serve as a basis for control measures to be taken and management information for all parties involved in the project.
• Sharing knowledge (helpdesk)/coaching (training) the team & project control employees in the field of project control, so that they are able to prepare the products and fulfill their role in the teams. Creating the right mindset in this.
• Reporting at (parcel and) program level. You will make the network more complete at Alliander. Did you know that Alliander consists of different companies? • At least 5 years of experience with project control in a large infrastructure company, where project control & management are part of daily tasks, including risk management and planning.
• Experience with project-based work in a technical environment; preferably in projects.
• Affinity with technology.
• Experience with SAP and other applications in a project environment is a plus, and you are familiar with all Microsoft Office applications. Performance obligations:
• Establishing an internal and external consultation structure, recorded in SharePoint.
• Developing a flow plan for the next five years. This will include three scenarios based on the lower, middle, and upper bounds of the contractually defined work package.
