Mechanical Design Engineer - Semiconductor

Project overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to start immediately for a remote role on a large semiconductor project.

The optimal candidate needs to have the expertise developing the detailed/constructive mechanical engineering package, starting from a basic concept design developed by an international engineering firm. The role is associated with the design of critical HVAC systems, process utilities, and chilled/hydronic networks.

Responsibilities

• Core Scope: Sizing, calculations, and detailed engineering for critical HVAC systems, process utilities, and chilled/hydronic networks (detailed routing, equipment sizing, technical datasheets, and P&IDs).
• Ideal Background (High Priority): Prior experience in semiconductor cleanroom facilities (FABs). As a suitable parallel, strong experience in hyperscale Data Centers or high-criticality industrial plants will also be highly valued.
• Standards & Knowledge: Cleanroom classification and controls (ISO 14644), ASHRAE guidelines, and advanced MEP/HVAC design workflows.
