Assignment Description As a developer, you will work within the Consolidation team on the development, further development, and maintenance of websites and digital applications. You will collaborate with other developers, product management, and content experts on user-friendly, secure, and accessible solutions, with reuse, open standards, and open source at the core. Developing various websites and applications, taking into account the following conditions: Using standards from the XML family for modeling, storing, processing, and querying information. Using React as the preferred framework for frontend development. Using an existing component library for the frontend and contributing to its further development where possible. Meeting the requirements for information security and digital accessibility. Using Logius's on-premise cloud platform for OTAP environments, based on Kubernetes. Developing code suitable for open-source release. b.

Designing a data and information architecture in collaboration with domain experts that aligns as much as possible with existing standards. c. Developing provisions for the reuse of data and information. d. Deploying and initially managing applications. e. Documenting the developed code and APIs. f. Coordinating activities within the development team, in consultation and collaboration with product management and content experts. g.

Testing the delivered products and monitoring quality Background of the assignment Logius develops, manages, and maintains various digital products, including legislation and regulation portals such as wetten.overheid.nl and lokaleregelgeving.overheid.nl, and government portals such as Tuchtrecht, de Verdragenbank, and Kwest. Within the Consolidation team, existing products are further developed and replaced, and new applications are developed. The team uses open-source software and technologies such as Apache Solr and Spring Boot. Development is in Java, with XML technology playing an important role.

Candidate has experience with development and maintenance of JAVA applications. The following technologies: JAVA (incl. Experience with Springboot) XML & XSLT (incl. Experience with Saxon) React Candidate has experience with setting up and maintaining Kubernetes and monitoring (such as Kibana, Grafana, Kuma, or Gatus) Candidate has experience with Agile design methods and techniques Candidate has at least HBO work and thinking level.

Perseverance / stress-resistant / proactive / independent Additional Information When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients through a blocked account, the G-account.

This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities. The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have an SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is established in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to submit an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) quarterly.

In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances. Please note that the costs for this statement are at your own expense.
