MOA Pricing and Equity Market Risk

Project overview

We are looking for a MOA Pricing / Equity Market Risk professional for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region. You will join an IT team that manages the pricing and risk calculation services used by Front Office and Risk, for a rapidly growing equity derivatives business.

Profile sought

You have a Master's degree (Bac+4/5) and solid experience (around 3 years) in Business Analysis or application support for pricing and market risk activities. You are familiar with Equity derivatives, risk calculations (VaR, Greeks, P&L), and ideally a platform like Murex, Summit, or Calypso. You are proficient in SQL and scripting (Python, Bash, or Powershell), and know Control-M, Grafana, or the ELK stack. You work in an Agile/Scrum environment using JIRA and ServiceNow. You are comfortable interacting with business teams as well as developers, are rigorous, and proactive.

• Gather and validate requirements from Front Office, Risk, and Quant teams, then write functional specifications.
• Contribute to strategic projects: new pricing/risk features, migrations, application redesigns.
• Provide Level 3 support: analyze and resolve production incidents, manage escalations.
• Organize and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), design non-regression test scenarios, and automate tests.
• Plan releases, track changes, and maintain product roadmaps.
• Improve application monitoring and alerting, analyze performance metrics, and propose optimizations.
