Project overview

NEC Supervisor Contract (Outside IR35) South East Ireland Matchtech are supporting a key client with the requisition of a Supervisor in Wexford/Rosslare on a contract basis. This role will support the supervision and coordination of construction activities across major infrastructure projects, acting as a key link between the Client, Consultant and Contractor teams. The position will be focused on site coordination, safety compliance, Contractor management, progress monitoring and project reporting within live operational environments.

Experience Experience supporting the construction-stage delivery of major infrastructure projects. Experience working on projects delivered under NEC contracts. Managing Contractor activities within civil engineering, marine, port, transport or live operational infrastructure environments. Coordinating Contractor interfaces across active construction works. Working within safety-critical, access-constrained or stakeholder-sensitive environments. Monitoring progress against programme requirements. Supporting project reporting and site record-keeping. Technical Knowledge Construction-stage governance.

NEC contract principles and construction-stage administration processes. Contractor submission review processes. Safety management arrangements. Incident reporting requirements. Project controls. Programme management principles. BIM, digital collaboration platforms and common data environments. Qualifications Degree, diploma, trade qualification or other relevant qualification in an engineering, construction or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. NEC accreditation desirable. Relevant site supervision, engineering or construction management qualifications desirable.

Membership of a relevant professional body desirable. Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Effective reporting and record-keeping abilities. Coordinating Contractors and site activities across multiple work fronts. Working collaboratively with Client, Consultant and Contractor teams. Identifying, escalating and helping resolve site issues. Organised and proactive approach to project delivery. Operating effectively within live operational environments
