.NET Developer for Jönköping

Project overview

We are now looking for an experienced .NET developer with good knowledge of XAML and MVVM for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in Jönköping. The assignment suits you who have experience in modern application development and want to work with migration and further development of applications in .NET MAUI.

You don't need to be an expert in MAUI from the start. If you have solid experience with, for example, WPF, Avalonia, or other XAML-based frameworks, there are good opportunities to quickly get into the development environment.

About the assignment

As a developer, you will work with the further development and modernization of the client's applications with a focus on .NET MAUI. An important part of the work is to contribute to a gradual migration from older technical platforms to a more modern solution.

You will, among other things:

Develop and further develop applications with .NET MAUI and XAML.

Work with MVVM architecture and ensure a clear separation between user interface and business logic.

Contribute to the migration and incremental modernization of existing applications.

Develop structured, maintainable, and testable code.

Create conditions for automated testing of application logic.

The assignment has limited needs for advanced platform-specific development for iOS and Android. The focus is instead on solid .NET competence, application architecture, and the ability to build long-term sustainable solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

3–7 years of relevant experience in system and application development within .NET and C#.

Good knowledge of XAML from, for example, .NET MAUI, Xamarin, WPF, Avalonia, Uno, or similar frameworks.

Deep understanding of MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) and experience applying the architectural pattern in practice.

Experience with larger migration projects and gradual transition from older to more modern technical platforms.

Experience in developing testable and maintainable code with good conditions for automated tests.

Meritorious

Practical experience with .NET MAUI.

Experience with MVVM Community Toolkit.

Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Prism or similar.

Experience structuring application logic so that it can be tested automatically and independently of the user interface.
