Network Administrator L2 - Operational Maintenance

Project overview

As part of strengthening a Network team within a nationally significant group, we are looking for an L2 Network Administrator - Operational Maintenance.

Integrated into a team of experts, you will work on network infrastructures covering LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN, security, and load balancing technologies. Your role will consist of ensuring the processing of level 2 incidents and requests, supporting first-level support teams, and escalating complex issues to specialized teams.

As such, your main missions will be the following:

You will evolve within an Infrastructure department managing a large-scale information system, offering real technical and operational richness. The environment includes Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Check Point equipment. The position is 100% Run-oriented with a strong operational and support dimension. After an initial two-month on-site integration period, you will be able to benefit from a hybrid working arrangement with up to 2 days of remote work per week.

• Analysis and resolution of level 2 network incidents.
• Processing and monitoring of technical requests.
• Support and guidance for L1 teams.
• Maintaining network infrastructures in operational condition.
• Qualification and escalation of complex incidents to level 3.
• Writing and updating technical documentation.
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
• Occasional participation in interventions outside of working hours and on-call duties.
