The role also involves administering Juniper networking equipment alongside Cisco environments, ensuring consistent configuration standards and security compliance across the network estate.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the university's core and data centre network infrastructure, including Cisco Nexus switches and Nexus Dashboard, ensuring high availability and performance across all connected services.
• Configure, maintain, and optimise F5 devices (e.g. BIG-IP) to support secure, reliable application delivery, traffic management, and load balancing for university systems and services.
• Administer and maintain Juniper networking equipment alongside Cisco environments, ensuring consistent configuration standards, security compliance, and smooth integration across the wider network estate.
