About the assignment

For the Operational Risk department within Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM), we are looking for an experienced Operational Risk Project Manager who, as an independent professional, contributes to the further professionalization of the Operational Risk Management function. Within this assignment, the focus is on assessing, improving, and future-proofing existing risk management processes and methodologies. You combine in-depth knowledge of non-financial risk management with strong project management skills and can translate complex issues into concrete, workable solutions.

You are responsible for achieving clearly defined project results and will work closely with relevant stakeholders within the organization.

What will you do?

As an Operational Risk Project Manager, you will focus on improving and further developing key components of the Operational Risk Management framework. Your activities include:

Reviewing and updating key components of the Operational Risk Management framework.

Analyzing, improving, and future-proofing the Risk & Control Self-Assessment process (RCSA).

Further developing the key control management methodology to a higher maturity level.

Identifying opportunities for improvement and translating findings into concrete solutions.

Coordinating with relevant stakeholders and guiding decision-making regarding proposed improvements.

Developing a concrete implementation roadmap with clear priorities, milestones, and recommendations.

Taking into account relevant developments, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and continuous monitoring.

Depending on the final project scope, the assignment may be extended to further professionalize the ROPA and DPIA processes.

A future-proof RCSA process: including clear roles, responsibilities, working methods, and deliverables.

An actionable implementation roadmap: clearly outlining the necessary steps, priorities, and dependencies.
