We are looking for an Operations Pilot / SysOps AWS Kubernetes for our major client.

Context of the assignment

Within the IT department of a collective management organization, you will join the operations team responsible for monitoring and availability of IT resources, in an industrialized cloud environment (AWS, Kubernetes) using CI/CD pipelines.

You will continuously ensure the monitoring of all IT resources and their operational management. You will ensure the service level and commitments, as well as the quality of processing, in accordance with the quality and security assurance plan.

• Diagnoses incidents in case of problems observed on the network, on servers or in case of user alert
• Starts, stops, and continuously monitors resources with reference to the day's work schedule
• Alerts and intervenes on incidents
• Launches tools or recovery commands (manual recovery, resource reconfiguration, file copying, backup operations…)
• Resumes work after resolution
• Updates the incident database
• Maintains operational documentation
• Ensures the availability of physical resources (disks, robots, automates…) and logical resources (software, disk space, power…)
• Lead and support the SysOps team (daily stand-ups, 1:1s, skill development)
• Prioritize and organize RUN and BUILD activities
• Gather technical needs from product teams regarding infrastructure and operations and prepare quarterly cycles
• Guarantee the availability and quality of services provided to business units (SLO/SLA)
• Supervise incidents, alerts, application weather, and batch jobs
• Communicate with stakeholders in case of major incidents
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines under GitLab and ensure the maintenance of all platform tools and components
• Support major evolutions: AWS cloud migrations, Kubernetes
• Enhance observability: logs (OpenSearch), metrics (Prometheus, CloudWatch), dashboards (Grafana)
• Define and maintain best practices for deployment, security, and monitoring
• Cloud and infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Linux RHEL
• Automation: GitLab CI, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Ansible
• Monitoring and logs: Prometheus, CloudWatch, Grafana, Checkly, OpenSearch
• Applications: Java/JS/Springboot, Tomcat/NGINX, Dollar Universe, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SolR, Elasticsearch
• Confirmed expertise in operations, SRE or DevOps: cloud, CI/CD, containerization, observability
• Experience in industrializing, automating, and managing complex infrastructures
• Team management, leadership, and sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills
