Ops / DevOps

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Ops / DevOps profile to support the operation, industrialization, and security of application platforms based on OpenStack and OpenShift/Kubernetes infrastructures.

The mission is part of an environment with high constraints of availability, security, and industrialization, with regular interactions with the product, DevOps, architecture, security, and operations teams of the ministry.

The consultant will notably be involved in the provision and maintenance of environments, application integration and deployment, automation of operations, and handling of operational issues.

Description

The consultant will provide expertise on OpenStack, OpenShift, and Kubernetes platforms and will contribute to the following activities:

administration and operation of Kubernetes / OpenShift clusters;

administration and use of OpenStack infrastructures;

provisioning and configuration of application environments;

deployment and operation of containerized applications;

analysis and resolution of complex platform incidents;

troubleshooting Kubernetes: pods, nodes, ingress, network, storage, resources, and scheduling;

implementation and improvement of CI/CD deployment pipelines;

automation of operations via Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code;

contribution to operational scripts and tools;

management of configurations, secrets, and environment parameters;

supervision, monitoring, logs, and observability of platforms;

performance analysis and resource optimization;

maintenance in operational and security condition;

support for product and DevOps teams;

participation in technical choices and architectural work;

documentation of installation, operation, and diagnostic procedures;

transfer of skills and support for less experienced profiles.

The consultant must be able to intervene autonomously on complex incidents or issues, propose sustainable solutions, and contribute to the industrialization of Ops practices.

Skills

Confirmed expertise in cloud and containerized environments, notably:

Kubernetes: architecture, administration, troubleshooting, and operation;

OpenShift: administration, deployment, and operation of workloads;

OpenStack: compute, network, storage, and resource management;

Docker / containerization;

Linux;

Git / GitLab and CI/CD pipelines;

Helm;

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform;

automation / configuration: Ansible;

Bash and/or Python scripting;

network: DNS, TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, ingress;

Kubernetes storage: PV, PVC, StorageClass;

secrets and configurations management;

monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, and logging tools;

incident analysis and troubleshooting;

DevSecOps practices and platform security.
