PCB Layout Engineers

Project overview

This contract role focuses on multilayer PCB layout design in Chennai, including coordination with hardware, mechanical, SI/PI, and PCB fabrication teams. Candidates need 8+ years of multilayer PCB layout experience, strong hands-on Cadence Allegro skills, and experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal PCB design. Technical requirements include HDI and blind/buried via design, high-speed interfaces, DFX and SI/PI guideline validation, stack-up definition, and layout feasibility and optimization.

Altium, PADS, or Xpedition experience is an advantage, and the description specifically requires immediate joiners. The supplied 8–12 year experience band is consistent with the description’s 8+ year minimum; the work location is Chennai and the employment type is contract.

Responsibilities

• 8+ years of experience in multilayer PCB layout design.
• Strong hands-on experience in Cadence Allegro (mandatory).
• Experience in Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal PCB design.
• Knowledge of Altium, PADS, or Xpedition will be an added advantage.
• HDI design techniques, Blind/Buried Vias.
• High-speed interface design (DDR4, PCIe, HDMI, USB, etc.).
• DFX and SI/PI guideline validation.
• Layer stack-up definition and calculations.
• High-density, compact PCB layouts.
• PCB feasibility analysis, layer optimization, and board size optimization.
