Project overview

Important: For this role, we are looking for a planner who will work throughout the Netherlands and is willing to travel and work at multiple locations.

temporary role of 3 months (with possible extension, depending on project size)

national - base location Duiven

Hours: 36 hours per week

Form: Secondment or ZZP (performance obligations to follow later)

as soon as possible - candidates with a notice period of one month will be rejected

Screening: basic

With the introduction of IFS PSO, the way work is prepared, planned, and executed is changing. The new planning system works with dynamic plan proposals based on prepared work. This changes the collaboration between planners, executors, work preparers, and mechanics.

The main changes are:

-planners will work with a new planning system and will have a greater role in managing exceptions and changes;

-executors and work preparers must prepare more and more flexible work;

-the executor no longer manages a fixed team of mechanics;

-planning by name disappears and is explicitly assigned to operational planning;

-the daily executor within Electricity will have a modified role;

-mechanics must consistently use the buttons in the mechanic app.

These changes require extra coordination, support, and guidance within the operation in the initial months.

Proposed solution

Deployment of temporary implementation support staff with a planner profile. These implementation support staff:

-support planners with planning changes and exceptions;

-support coordination between planners and executors;

-record deviations and missing decision rules;

-support mechanics in the correct use of the mechanic app;

-collect bottlenecks and improvement suggestions from practice;

-provide input to the RASP structure for further optimization of processes and system configuration.

Expected effects

With the proposed support:

-space is created for planners and executors to adopt the new working method;

-the implementation burden is not fully placed on the critical capacity groups within O&S;

-the new working method is actively supported and secured;

-bottlenecks, deviations, and missing decision rules are made visible;

-a focused improvement agenda is created for further optimization of PSO, processes, and working methods.

Who are we looking for?

-> you have at least 2 to 3 years of work experience as an operational planner

-> you are communicatively skilled and not afraid to make phone calls

-> you identify improvements and bottlenecks

-> Deployment of temporary implementation support staff with a planner profile, who are also able to temporarily replace the operational planner when necessary.
