Platform Architect

Project overview

As a Platform Architect, you will build the connection between vision, architecture, and realization within the Generic Development Street of JIVC.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Designing a scalable and future-proof platform architecture for DevSecOps teams
• Building and maintaining an Internal Developer Platform that increases developer productivity
• Coordinating with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, security advisors, and development and management teams
• Managing the implementation of IDP components with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Kubernetes, Backstage, and Istio
• Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, and self-healing platform components
• Ensuring security principles such as compliance by design and security by default
• Contributing to the platform strategy and new developments within the DevSecOps domain
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience as a Platform Architect or in a similar role
• eCF3 Senior Professional/Manager competency level
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the chosen eCF profile
• Availability of at least 38 hours per week
• Dutch passport
• Mastery of the Dutch language
• Security investigation VGB level B required for this assignment
• Preferably 10 years or more of experience with infrastructure architecture and/or platform engineering
• Preferably experience with platform engineering environments for at least 20 DevSecOps teams
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes ecosystems, and IaC/CI/CD principles
