Our client is looking for a freelance Platform Engineer specializing in AWS and Developer Experience (DevX). The role involves building and operating a shared internal AWS platform to enable development teams to manage their applications autonomously.
Project overview
Our client is looking for a Platform Engineer AWS / Developer Experience (DevX) (M/F) for a freelance mission.
Within the IT Core Platform team, the mission consists of building and operating a shared internal AWS platform, enabling development teams to create, deploy, and manage their applications in self-service, with common standards for automation, governance, and cost control.
- Design and evolve shared AWS services for development teams.
- Build and industrialize CI/CD pipelines under GitLab CI, with dynamic runners on EKS.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning and managing infrastructure at scale.
- Implement governance for multi-account AWS environments, particularly via Control Tower and IAM.
- Develop self-service capabilities for the platform to facilitate application deployments.
- Structure transverse FinOps: tagging, cost allocation, budgets per team or domain, and consumption monitoring via Cost Explorer/CUR.
- Ensure the operation and evolution of the shared platform.
