The energy transition requires a robust digital foundation. Within Team Atlas, you will build the AWS platform on which crucial energy data is processed securely, reliably, and scalably. You will work on complex issues related to landing zones, networking, security, resilience, and platform standardization. You will have the opportunity not only to build technology but also to shape the technical direction of the platform. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams and help EDSN further increase its platform maturity.

About EDSN

Energie Data Services Nederland (EDSN) is a growing company that is rapidly professionalizing its organization. From startup to scale-up. EDSN develops a reliable and innovative ICT infrastructure for all regional and national grid operators. We specialize in collecting and making usage data accessible, which other market parties can then use to develop new services. • Design, build, and further develop EDSN's AWS platform.
• Realize secure and scalable landing zones according to security-by-design principles.
• Set up and improve network architectures, IAM structures, and security controls.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Advise DevOps teams on the optimal use of the platform.
• Increase the resilience, availability, and security of the cloud landscape.
• Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and compliance issues.
• Act as a technical expert and sparring partner for architects and engineers.
• Translating technical vision into concrete solutions.
• Establishing platform standards that other teams can successfully build upon.
• Sharing in-depth AWS knowledge with colleagues and helping teams move forward.
• Structurally improving security, reliability, and automation.
• Standing in front of a whiteboard and making complex topics understandable.
• Continuously raising the technical bar for yourself and your environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrable experience with Enterprise networking architecture.
• Demonstrable experience with landing zones, networking, and cloud security.
• Experience with Terraform, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Affinity with monitoring, observability, and platform reliability.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to involve teams in technical choices.
• Experience with stakeholder management and collaborating with architects and engineering teams.
• A proactive, independent, and analytical work attitude.
• Knowledge of Linux and container platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
