Who are you?

You are a Platform Engineer who:

On-call service

For this assignment, you will participate in on-call services. You will be part of a 24x7 on-call service according to a rotation schedule within the team, being available on average once every six weeks to resolve serious disruptions. We ask suppliers to take this into account when submitting their rate.

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid).

The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client.

We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account.

This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad.

You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities.

If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter.

In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.

About the assignment

For Logius, we are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer who wants to contribute to the further development and management of the Private Cloud Platform. Within this environment, crucial government services are supported, including MijnOverheid, Digipoort, and other facilities used daily by millions of citizens and organizations. You will be part of an Agile/Scrum organization working according to the SAFe framework. Together with your team, you are responsible for developing, managing, automating, and improving the cloud platform on which these services run.
