Contract Power BI Developer/BI Analyst (5–6 years) needed in Bengaluru to partner with business users to define KPIs and dashboard requirements, build interactive Power BI dashboards/scorecards, create scalable data models and DAX measures, and ensure report accuracy through validation/testing. The role requires strong Power BI Desktop/Service, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and SQL skills, plus collaboration with data engineering/architecture for data sourcing and performance, and support for governance/security of Power BI environments. Cloud analytics exposure is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define business KPIs, analytical models, and dashboard requirements in collaboration with business users.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Develop scalable data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and optimized visualizations.
- Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams for data sourcing and performance optimization.
- Conduct data validation, testing, and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Provide business insights and recommendations based on data trends and analytics.
- Support governance, security, and performance optimization of Power BI environments.
- Create functional and technical documentation for analytics solutions.
