Precommissioning and Commissioning Engineer

Project overview

Capefront is looking for a Precommissioning and Commissioning Engineer to support an industrial project in the energy sector, in France.

The mission will take place on an industrial site located near Etrez, with presence on site and in the offices of the project's life base.

Start-up is scheduled as soon as possible. The work base is 40 hours per week. Accommodation and subsistence costs must be included in the commercial proposal.

The engineer will assist the existing Start-up Manager. They will contribute to the successful completion of EIA precommissioning and commissioning activities, in compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Main responsibilities

The mission will include:

• Writing and reviewing test procedures for systems under their responsibility.
• Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, construction teams, and commissioning teams.
• Planning and monitoring the execution of on-site start-up activities.
• Monitoring mechanical completion, pre-start-up, start-up, and commissioning activities.
• Verifying the conformity of equipment and systems with design, plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Updating commissioning activities in the project's tracking tools and databases.
• Monitoring start-up milestones and associated minutes of meetings.
• Managing the documentation required for precommissioning and commissioning activities.
• Assisting with commissioning, performance testing, and acceptance of facilities.
• Participating in the preparation of weekly and monthly site reports.
• Supporting and monitoring supplier representatives during start-up activities.
• Participating in the project's closing report for precommissioning and commissioning topics.
