The assignment involves strengthening privacy policies within a technical, operational environment.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing and implementing policies on privacy and data protection in a technical-operational environment
• Building and maintaining a shared knowledge base in the field of privacy and data protection
• Establishing processes for registration, analysis, and reporting of privacy incidents and data breaches
• Guiding projects and improvement initiatives in the area of privacy
• Coordinating with internal disciplines such as information security and physical security
• Promoting privacy awareness through training, workshops, and advice
• Monitoring privacy risks and reporting on findings and improvement measures
• Translating organizational privacy needs into concrete management measures
• Designing and implementing privacy solutions according to Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default
• Presenting advice and recommendations to stakeholders and management
• Managing and directing privacy assessments, controls, and audits
• Advising management on privacy issues and compliance
• Supporting similar activities in other organizational units if necessary
• Experience in information security and information provision/IT
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience as a privacy professional, for example as a Privacy Officer, Data Protection Officer, or privacy lawyer
• Minimum 4 years of experience with the GDPR
• Demonstrable knowledge of privacy through CIPP/E and/or CIPM certification
• Experience within an executive agency of the Dutch government is a pré
• Experience with privacy and/or information security in the field of operational technology, such as camera security and access control, is a pré
• Knowledge of or experience with project management is a pré
• Policy experience is recommended
• Knowledge of or experience with Wjsg and/or WGBO is a pré
