About Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods

Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods is a leading producer of milk powders and dairy ingredients. For the production location in Gorinchem, we are looking for an experienced Process Improvement Specialist Production. The assignment focuses on supporting the Plant Manager Filling & Packing in the integration of two production lines and the associated employees, with the aim of improving and securing work processes, structure, and daily management.

Important:

You will be present on the production floor in Gorinchem daily and participate in the daily start-up at 08:30 AM. Working from home is not possible for this assignment.

What do we offer?

• Conduct a baseline measurement and identify areas for improvement within the production environment.
• Develop and achieve concrete improvement objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and secure work instructions and uniform work processes.
• Implement improvement proposals and lead Level 1 Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
• Improve the training, competencies, and employability of employees.
• Build connections between operators, team leaders, and support departments.
• Measure and report on achieved improvement results.
• Monitor progress and adjust improvement actions as needed.
• Ensure that new working methods and responsibilities are structurally embedded within the line organization.
• Strengthen team leaders in the daily management of the department.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with process improvement within an industrial production environment.
• Experience with Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) is a must.
• Experience within the food and packaging industry or a comparable environment.
• A technical background is a plus.
• Experience with creating work instructions and implementing improvement proposals.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented, with the ability to engage operators and team leaders in changes.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and creating work instructions and templates.
• Knowledge of Ultimo is desired.
• HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
• A challenging interim assignment at a leading dairy company.
