Project overview
Support the fruits category team with data-driven procurement work:
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Assist procurement and category management activities for the fruits category
- Carry out market research, supplier assessments and benchmarking
- Review trends in pricing, contractual terms, expenditure data and procurement performance indicators
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations for sourcing strategies
- Draft stakeholder reports, presentations and executive summaries
- Support supplier evaluations, contract renewals and tender analysis
- Track market developments and spot potential commercial opportunities
- Work together with cross-functional teams across procurement and the wider business
- Contribute to ongoing procurement projects and daily category tasks
- Master's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management or a strongly analytical business function
- Strong analytical mindset able to turn complex data into business insights
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Proactive and curious attitude, comfortable questioning assumptions
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Experience in FMCG, food, consumer goods, manufacturing or procurement is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP or other procurement systems is an advantage
