Product Manager / Product Owner Data

Project overview

Context

We are looking for our client, a major international luxury house, a Data Product Manager. He or she will join the Data team, which develops data products for the business units.

You will be the link between the data teams and the Finance, Retail, and Logistics departments, with a true product culture and a strong value orientation.

Your missions

Profile sought

• Define the vision and roadmap for data products: dashboards, data models, steering indicators.
• Gather and prioritize the needs of the Finance, Retail, and Logistics teams, then translate them into actionable user stories.
• Manage the backlog and lead agile ceremonies with Data Engineers and Data Analysts.
• Define and monitor the value and adoption indicators of the delivered products.
• Ensure the consistency of definitions and KPIs across the different departments.
• Support business users: adoption, training, feedback collection.
• Contribute to the identification of value-added AI use cases, in support of dedicated teams.
• 5 to 8 years of experience, including at least 3 years as a Data Product Manager or Product Owner.
• Mastery of data product management: discovery, prioritization, roadmap, backlog management.
• Solid data culture: SQL, data modeling, BI (Power BI, Tableau), cloud architectures (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake…).
• Knowledge of business challenges:
• finance: reporting, performance management;
• retail: sales, inventory, store performance;
• supply chain: flows, inventory, lead times.
• Practice of agile methods (Scrum, SAFe).
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
