Assignment Description

There is a need for a Product Owner to strengthen the Integration Strategy Enablement Team (ISET). As Product Owner of ISET, you will act as a bridge between the value teams of IVO and ISET. You will translate customer needs and priorities into technical requirements for the Hybrid Integration Platform (HIP). This means you will not only understand what the consuming teams want but also serve as a sounding board for ISET on how to implement these wishes.

Background of the assignment

The Hybrid Integration Platform (HIP) is the target platform for integrations within the Judiciary. Several value teams already use the platform, and this number will grow significantly in the coming period. Partly because of this, HIP is under full development. As Product Owner, you will have the opportunity to guide the further development of a platform that is partly hosted on Red Hat OpenShift and partly on Microsoft Azure. This offers ample opportunities for broad development in areas such as stakeholder management within a technically complex environment.

In addition, ISET focuses on supporting value teams in realizing their integrations. Giving presentations and workshops, gathering and translating customer needs, and managing complex integration issues are therefore an important part of the role. Customer contact is central and one of our most important spearheads.

• Gathering (technical) requirements from the value teams
• Stakeholder management and prioritization
• Giving presentations on vision, roadmap, etc. to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Supporting ISET in technical choices, both within and outside the team
• Creating an environment within ISET where people can work pleasantly and efficiently

Additional Information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) or not, and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.

• HBO work and thinking level

• Demonstrable experience in the role of (technical) product owner of an Azure platform (PaaS) (5 years)
• Ability to connect business and IT; including alignment with Portfolio management and quarterly planning
• Ability to translate technical solutions into value for the business
• Experience working under architecture
• Ability to balance innovation and reliability/predictability
• In addition to knowledge of technical tools such as Microsoft Azure and OpenShift, experience with these types of tools is a real plus. You will function as a technical Product Owner and therefore cannot always rely on the knowledge of ISET when you are in discussions with value teams.
