Program Manager (secondment)

Project overview

You will lead a project that replaces and integrates the biometric components of the Common Biometrics Facility (GBV) through a European tender process.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Manage the project in terms of time, budget, quality, and scope
• Prepare a project plan for the tender and implementation phase
• Align governance with the client
• Guide the European tender and the selection of a suitable contracting party
• Manage the integration of new biometric components and associated tooling into the GBV
• Handle the transfer of biometric data and provide contract and management documentation
• Oversee the decommissioning of no longer used biometric components and environments
• Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level
• More than ten years of experience in managing complex projects
• Managed at least two projects with a budget exceeding two million euros
• Experience in managing multiple parties with conflicting interests
• Involvement in at least one European tender
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Experience in leading a core team of more than five people
• Skill in maintaining meticulous project administration, including documentation and progress monitoring
