Project Assistant Accounting Control

Project overview

We are looking for a Project Assistant for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region to strengthen an accounting and expense control team, engaged in several transformation projects.

The context: a high workload related to a merger project of two management companies and an electronic invoicing project. The team needs support to absorb this workload and successfully manage the changes.

Your missions:

Profile sought

You have higher education (BAC+4/5) in finance, accounting, or management, and solid initial experience in financial accounting, control, and reporting. You are proficient in project management (coordination, progress tracking, indicators) and can analyze accounting data. Fluent English is essential, both written and spoken. Rigorous, organized, and autonomous, you are comfortable acting as a link between a manager and a team, and meeting tight deadlines.

• Contribute to the merger and electronic invoicing projects: coordination and monitoring of individual contributions.
• Manage calendars with regard to deadlines and track task progress.
• Disseminate project monitoring indicators.
• Take over part of the current accounting control: control statements and transversal reporting.
• Contribute to the finalization of remediation action plans for certain team processes.
• Act as a link between the manager and the team on accounting production: monitoring indicators, support in case of blocking issues.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from statutory auditors and control teams.
