What will you do

As a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering Security at Brabant Water, you will contribute to the safety of production and office locations that are essential for the water supply in North Brabant. From the engineering office, you will be responsible for preparing, designing, realizing, and delivering projects in the field of intrusion and access control systems. You will work closely with lead engineers, security advisors, IT specialists, and external contractors.

You will manage projects from initiation to completion and ensure that security solutions comply with current standards, guidelines, and technical standards. You will also actively contribute to the further development and standardization of security systems within Brabant Water.

Who are you?

You have an MBO 4 diploma in electrical engineering or a comparable education. Through your work experience, you function at HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level and are capable of independently managing projects.

• Designing and preparing projects for intrusion and access control systems, including site surveys, design documentation, and technical drawings in AutoCAD;
• Drafting, checking, and assessing specifications, tender documents, and quotes;
• Coordinating and verifying internal and external engineering work and monitoring uniform technical solutions;
• Overseeing the execution of projects by contractors and checking quality, safety, and compliance with electrical engineering standards;
• Guiding FAT and SAT tests, supporting with acceptances, and ensuring complete technical file creation;
• Developing and improving technical standards and working methods within the security field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a comparable role;
• Experience with designing and realizing intrusion and access control systems within an industrial environment;
• Knowledge of relevant standards, laws, and regulations within electrical engineering and security;
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• A meticulous way of working and an eye for detail.
