Job description

To support the Enterprise Cloud project, we are looking for an experienced PMO. Due to the environment in which the project operates, affinity with ICT (concepts, terminology) is a requirement. The PMO must quickly grasp the subject matter to make a good contribution in terms of preparing various reports, identifying deviations, documenting correct actions/decisions, reviewing documentation, etc.

The PMO is expected to relieve and support the program manager and to think along with them about which tasks can be taken over and/or largely prepared.

Below is a brief description of the tasks/responsibilities as well as the required competencies and job requirements. The PMO serves the project and reports to the program manager.

The PMO is part of a pool of PMO colleagues from the Project and Program Management department of DUO. They are initially intended for this assignment, but it is possible that they will also be deployed on other assignments over time.

Assignment Background In 2017, DUO planned to implement a Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) as a next-generation VMware platform. This would provide DUO with a fully software-defined infrastructure where compute, storage, and network infrastructure are implemented and configured through software. In 2019, DUO and ODCN agreed to collaborate in this area. The logical division of tasks: ODCN as the supplier of the SDDC service and DUO as the customer/launching customer. This project, under the name Enterprise Cloud, resulted in a VMware VCD-based multi-tenant stack.

After a period of 2 years of reorientation, this is the assignment description for the Cloud Transition Program, for the restart and completion of EC, taking into account the advice DUO has received from AcICT on this file.

• EUS-EUC is divided into two teams: one team for the DUO organization and one team for the other parts within the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW). Both EUC teams consist of approximately 12 employees and each has a dedicated Service Owner and Scrum Master.
