Stedin is looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) – Capacity Management Chain. (ZZP NOT POSSIBLE) Indicative hourly rate is €70,- all-in, ex VAT.

Due to the energy transition, we have more work than ever. The System Operations department ensures that Stedin optimally utilizes its infrastructure, so that as many customers as possible can be provided with their energy needs. For this, the capacity management chain has been established. Within this chain, we work on stretching technical capacity limits (e.g., via flex propositions) and dynamically reducing the demand for capacity (e.g., via congestion management).

As a PMO, you are an indispensable link in organizing this complex collaboration and coordinating internal communication.

Responsibilities

As a Project Management Officer, you ensure insight, overview, and structure within projects, programs, and portfolios that contribute to the energy transition. You collect and analyze project information, support project control, and help project teams maintain grip. You also implement new working methods and ensure they work in practice. Furthermore, you actively propose improvements based on what you encounter.

As a PMO within the capacity management chain, you are responsible for organizing and structuring chain consultations, decision-making processes, and working sessions. You support the capacity management chain team with clear planning, governance, and coordination. You ensure that the right people come together at the right time, that decisions are well-prepared, and that clear outcomes and follow-up actions are always recorded. Where necessary, you will facilitate sessions or consultations yourself, ensuring they are effective and goal-oriented.

You step in at a moment when we are further professionalizing our project management processes and have the opportunity to implement and improve these working methods, thereby achieving visible results.

Within this role, you also work on internal communication for the chain. You will write out the communication plan and organize various creative communication expressions to celebrate the chain's successes. You work closely with the chain manager, the director of System Operations, and colleagues from various departments. You actively contribute to the professionalization of the chain and the improvement of collaboration and decision-making.

You will be part of the capacity management chain team, part of the System Operations department, from day one. Our team works according to the Stedin@Work concept.

You will work approximately half of the time at our head office in Rotterdam, right across from Rotterdam Blaak station. The other half of the time you work from home. That's flexible.

In addition, you will work intensively with colleagues from different chains and departments and report to the capacity management chain team.

• Organizing and structuring chain consultations and decision-making processes.
• Preparing, facilitating, and guiding working sessions and workshops.
• Supporting chain management and leadership with planning and coordination.
• Monitoring progress and follow-up of actions within the chain portfolio.
• Improving governance and chain management.
• Identifying bottlenecks and advising on improvement measures.
• Contributing to the internal communication of the capacity management chain.
• You have a strong analytical ability and quickly grasp complex issues.
• You have excellent communication skills and can bring people along with your insights.
• You maintain an overview of different projects and are proactive in this, taking on tasks independently.
• You are proactive, structured, and always maintain an overview.

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a complex organization, preferably in a PMO role.
• HBO/WO work and thinking level, preferably in a relevant field.
• Experience with organizing decision-making and consultation structures.
• Knowledge of capacity management and chain collaboration.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Planview, and MS Project.
