What will you do

Within GGD Brabant-Zuidoost, a decision has been made to establish a business operations department to centralize the supporting and advisory activities within Public Health. Currently, these activities are fragmented, leading to differences in working methods, support, continuity, and replaceability. The business operations department aims to contribute to greater uniformity, quality, flexibility, continuity, and management support.

Your contribution

The GGD is looking for a professional with experience in organizational development and change management. This professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and guiding the implementation of the Business Operations Public Health department.

Goal of the assignment

The objective of this assignment is to deliver a supported organizational design, including the setup of tasks, responsibilities, work processes, governance, prerequisites, and implementation approach for a central support organization within Public Health.

You will analyze the current situation, develop the intended business operations department, guide the pilot within one selected discipline, and based on the insights gained, provide an evaluation and advice for the structural setup and further development of the business operations department.

• What you bring
• Experience with organizational development and change processes.
• Experience within the public sector, preferably in healthcare or GGD environments.
• Knowledge of business operations, process design, and governance.
• Experience with employee participation processes and organizational changes.
• Strong advisory skills and political sensitivity.
• Ability to create connections between employees, management, and support services.

• The take-over period for flexible workers is 1,700 hours.
• Indexation does not apply.
• A valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is mandatory for every placement. The costs for this are borne by the supplier and must be included in the rate. The candidate may only start once the VOG has been received.
