Project Manager Civil Engineering (Demolition and New Construction Loobrug)

Project overview

As project manager, you will oversee the demolition and new construction of the Loobrug in Utrecht, from start to handover to management.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Act as the first point of contact for the contractor and monitor quality, schedule, progress, budget, and risks
• Review the contractor's plans and advise on practical feasibility
• Coordinate the involved utility companies within the project
• Oversee permits, traffic measures, and BLVC aspects
• Check interim statements and additional/less work
• Chair construction meetings and resolve daily execution issues
• Ensure a proper completion and handover to management, including preliminary and final inspections and minutes
• Working and thinking level at HBO (higher professional education) level, preferably with a background in Civil Engineering or Construction
• At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in civil engineering projects
• Experience in managing contractors within RAW, D&C, and/or UAV contracts
• A valid VCA-VOL certification
• Flexible attitude and willingness to work evenings, nights, or weekends if necessary
• Experience with a government organization or from the client's role is an advantage
