Project overview

As a project manager, you are responsible for the preparation, coordination, and monitoring of multiple public space redesign projects for the municipality.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Coordination with internal managers, colleagues from other disciplines, residents, businesses, and the portfolio holder
• Monitoring project frameworks and carefully weighing conflicting interests
• Coordinating civil engineering preparation and commissioning specifications and drawings
• Ensuring the completeness and quality of project documents and scheduling review moments
• Managing the tender process via TenderNed
• Communicating progress to residents, businesses, administrators, and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring project budgets and financial progress and timely identifying and adjusting deviations
• HBO work and thinking level
• Demonstrable minimum of 5 years of work experience as a project manager at a municipality
• Background in civil engineering projects focused on public spaces
• Political sensitivity and skill in handling conflicting interests
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
• Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with various disciplines
• Flexibility, decisiveness, and results orientation
