Project overview
As project manager, you will oversee the execution of the demolition and new construction of the Loobrug bridge, from start to handover to management.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Review and assess the contractor's plans, considering risks
- Coordinate activities with utility companies during the project
- Assess the practical feasibility of the work
- Monitor quality, schedule, progress, budget, and risks during the execution phase
- Supervise permits, traffic measures, and BLVC aspects
- Review interim statements and variations (additional and reduced work)
- Resolve daily issues during execution with involved parties
- Chair construction meetings
- Attend preliminary and final inspections
- Record minutes of inspections
- Ensure a smooth handover and transfer to management
- Working and thinking level at HBO (higher professional education) level, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction
- At least 3 years of experience as a project manager in civil engineering projects
- Experience in managing contractors under RAW, D&C, and/or UAV contracts
- Valid VCA-VOL certification
- Experience with a government organization or from the client's perspective is a plus
