Project overview

The assignment focuses on strengthening financial advice within the municipality and guiding the administrative merger with the municipality of Best.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Drafting and updating financial policy and financial strategy
• Acting as a strategic discussion partner for the Manager of Operations and the Chief Controller
• Identifying risks and opportunities to ensure financial continuity
• Coordinating the planning and control cycle, including executive reports
• Performing quality control on financial decision-making and reporting
• Managing and coaching four financial advisors, three of whom have recently started
• Enhancing advisory skills and administrative sensitivity within the team
• Establishing professional working methods and ensuring knowledge sharing within the team
• Completed HBO+ or WO education in Business Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Public Administration, or similar
• Extensive experience in a senior financial advisory or management role
• Proven experience with municipal organizations, supplemented with knowledge of the spatial domain
• Experience with coaching and developing financial professionals
