Project Manager Green & Play (interim)

Project overview

As a project manager, you will manage projects for greening and playgrounds within the public space of Utrecht.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing Green and Play projects, with a focus on new play and movement areas, final designs, and realization
• Inventorying customer needs and preparing a quotation
• Ensuring the assembly and management of the project team
• Taking responsibility for execution and handover to management
• Advising the client on municipal processes, sustainability, and healthy urban living
• Consulting with stakeholders and applying participation where necessary
• Making decisions within the established project frameworks
• Contributing to the development of colleagues based on acquired experience
• Completed higher professional education (HBO)
• Knowledge of civil engineering, particularly maintenance, realization, and developmental management of green and play projects
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with projects in public spaces
• Knowledge of and experience with project-based creation, IPMA certificate B or C, or a comparable training such as Neerlands Diep
• Demonstrable experience with politically sensitive topics, preferably at the municipal level
