What will you do

Team UOR is in transition, but the work continues. That is why we are looking for an experienced project manager who can successfully manage long-term projects and is not afraid of (as yet) missing processes and/or information. You know the ropes, work independently, and stand firm in your shoes as a contractor towards the client and politically.

The projects within this assignment concern integrated management projects in the areas of, among others, sewers, paving, green spaces, and neighborhood approach. In many cases, these projects have been postponed for years. Therefore, good financial insight is essential. In addition, civil engineering knowledge and experience in leading management projects within larger areas are a requirement.

The following conditions apply to this assignment:

• Coordinate with internal clients and keep the alderman involved where necessary.
• Actively gather input from internal specialists, such as traffic, management, spatial planning, and development.
• Manage the design process and ensure broad coordination and approval of plans.
• Connect internal and external parties, such as utility companies, the water board, schools, and residents.
• Supervise tenders in collaboration with the contract manager and ensure a smooth process.
• Monitor planning, budget, and risks, and ensure clear reporting.
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of demonstrable experience as a project manager.
• Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level or extensive relevant work experience.
• Available for at least 28 hours per week, with a preference for 36 hours per week.
• Start date: as soon as possible.
• Submit the CV in Dutch.
• Applying an extra link between the candidate and the supplier offering the candidate is not permitted.
• The personal motivation must demonstrate, with substantiation, that the candidate possesses the required competencies.
• The candidate possesses a proof of identity (a passport or identity card), which is valid at intake and on the start date of the candidate's contract and can be presented for inspection.
• The VNG Model General Procurement Conditions for Supplies and Services apply to this assignment.
• The take-over period for flexible workers on a secondment basis is 1,404 hours.
• The take-over period for flexible workers on a temporary employment basis is 936 hours.
• Indexation does not apply.
• If the supplier offers a freelancer, the agreement will be concluded exclusively between Haert and the respective freelancer. Any agreements regarding kickback fees will be agreed exclusively between the supplier and the freelancer and fall outside the responsibility of Haert.
• A valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is mandatory for this placement. The costs thereof are for the account of the supplier and must be included in the rate. The candidate may only start once the VOG has been received.
• Upon termination of an assignment by the client, the following notice periods apply:
• Up to 8 weeks worked: notice period of 1 working week.
• Between 8 and 26 weeks worked: notice period of 3 working weeks.
• Longer than 26 weeks worked: notice period of 1 month.
• The rate depends on the knowledge and skills of the candidate.
• A candidate can only start after signing our cooperation agreement and the client-specific agreement of this client.
• With sufficient applications, we will close the assignment earlier than the indicated deadline in the portal. Therefore, submit a suitable candidate as soon as possible.
