IT Project Manager - Global Payroll Implementation - London (hybrid) - £575 p/d (Outside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a global payroll implementation project within a leading Life Sciences organisation.

The project is currently in the discovery phase, and the successful candidate will play a key role in driving the initial discovery activities, defining the project scope, developing detailed delivery plans and managing the implementation through its subsequent phases.

This role requires a hands-on IT Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex payroll system implementations within global, matrixed organisations.

Contract Details

• Lead the end-to-end IT project management of a global payroll implementation.
• Drive discovery activities, gathering requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones and delivery roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, HR, Payroll, Finance and external vendors.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure effective governance, reporting and communication throughout the project life cycle.
• Work across a complex, global Matrix organisation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Proven experience delivering payroll system implementations within global organisations

• Strong background in IT project management, with a demonstrable track record of successful technology delivery.
• Experience working within complex, matrixed and multinational organisations.
• Strong discovery, requirements gathering and detailed project planning experience.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, workstreams and third-party suppliers.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or another highly regulated industry would be advantageous.
• Duration: Initial 6-month contract
• Rate: £575 per day (Outside IR35)
• Location: London
• 2/3 days onsite per week
