Project Manager - Labor Market Strategy Civil Engineering

Project overview

You will work closely with the senior HR advisors of SI and BOR, the involved recruiters, and the managers of both departments. The Head of HR is also involved in the assignment.

You are a strong discussion partner for management. You have a feel for political and administrative relationships, can handle diverse interests, and dare to give clear advice. You work independently, take responsibility, and stay on course, even when decisions are not easily made.

Within Stadsingenieurs (SI) and Beheer Openbare Ruimte (BOR), there is a lot of knowledge and various initiatives are already underway.

Recruitment remains responsible for regular recruitment and general labor market communication.

• The candidate possesses a university work and thinking level and has at least 10 years of work experience at a university level.
• The candidate has extensive experience with strategic HR and labor market issues.
• The candidate has previously managed complex assignments and can translate an analysis into well-founded advice and its execution.
• The candidate has knowledge of strategic personnel planning, staffing management, and job development.
• The candidate understands how the labor market works and can assess what opportunities an organization has to strengthen its position as an employer.
• The candidate is a strong discussion partner for management, has a feel for political and administrative relationships, can handle diverse interests, and dares to give clear advice.
• The candidate works independently, takes responsibility, and stays on course, even when decisions are not easily made.
• The CV must be submitted in PDF format and in Dutch.
• The supplier must be aware of the applicable laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and the Municipalities collective labor agreement.
• The personal motivation must substantiate that the candidate possesses the required competencies.
• The pre-employment screening, including the VOG (Certificate of Conduct), must be completed before the candidate starts.
• The candidate must possess a valid passport or identity card that can be presented for verification at the intake and on the start date of the contract.
• Knowledge of the civil engineering labor market is a significant advantage.
• Experience within a political-administrative organization is also a significant advantage.
• You will utilize that knowledge.
• You will bring the different activities together.
• You will add your own expertise to it.
