The position

Responsibilities

You will work integrally with colleagues from the physical and social domains to realize the societal goals of the Environmental Act and the Environmental Visions of both municipalities.

About the company

The team

The Projects & Support team consists of approximately 25 colleagues and contributes to a pleasant and healthy living environment for the municipalities of Sint-Michielsgestel and Boxtel by carrying out (spatial) development projects.

The team consists of project leaders, integral project leaders, program managers, and project employees. Both permanent staff and hired, junior and experienced professionals. We have taken major steps in professionalizing content and process over the past year.

• You organize and lead complex, spatial projects that are politically and socially sensitive. You do this in collaboration with various teams.
• You are responsible for the process, content, and finances of the projects from the start and work on good embedding or transfer within the organization.
• You contribute to the development of colleagues and project-based (collaborative) work.
• You draw up a project plan within the assignment and report to the administrative and executive client on progress.
• You are responsible for environmental management and are therefore the figurehead and point of contact for the internal organization and for external stakeholders.
• You are a point of contact within the project leader working group and stimulate knowledge development within it.
• Finally, you come up with improvement proposals regarding clear and structured working.
• Minimum HBO work and thinking level.
• Experience with leading extensive spatial projects.
• Experience with and knowledge of spatial planning and the Environmental Act.
• Administrative sensitivity and strong communication skills; you understand the political relationships, can anticipate them, and communicate at different levels.
• Decisive and results-oriented; you are able to make decisions and have a great sense of responsibility.
• Competitive fixed salary, depending on knowledge and experience;
• 25 vacation days and 8.33% holiday allowance;
