Project Manager Review Subsidies Social Domain (secondment)

Project overview

As a project manager, you will lead the review of the subsidy system within the social domain.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Set up and monitor an approach with planning, milestones, and task allocation defined
• Prepare strategic choices regarding the support of social initiatives in various development phases
• Coordinate the revision of the "Goed voor Elkaar" and "Jongeren" subsidy schemes
• Develop a multi-year subsidy scheme for semi-professional organizations that employ paid staff
• Inventory budget item subsidies and advise on their integration into the new schemes
• Monitor coherence with adjacent schemes and programs, such as neighborhood, community, and village budgets
• Ensure appropriate financial coverage in collaboration with the financial advisor and business controller
• Prepare and support administrative decision-making, such as proposals for the executive and municipal council
• Design and execute a communication and participation process with subsidy recipients and partners
• Arrange the legal review of the new schemes
• Develop the assessment system and guide the implementation at the subsidy office
• Regularly inform the clients about progress, risks, and necessary decisions
• Completed education at least at HBO level
• At least 3 years of work experience in a municipal or comparable political-administrative context
• Demonstrable experience in municipal subsidy policy
• Experience as a project manager in at least one revision, renewal, or development of municipal subsidy policy
• Experience coordinating a multidisciplinary team with policy, financial, and legal expertise
• Availability of 24 hours per week for at least one year
