Project overview

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Interim Customer Migration Consultant to support a large-scale customer migration project through 31 March 2027. The consultant will be responsible for driving customer onboarding activities, coordinating migration readiness, and ensuring successful customer transitions from legacy solutions to the new platform.

The role requires extensive direct customer interaction via Microsoft Teams, telephone, and e-mail and serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the migration process. A key objective is to ensure all assigned customers complete their migration activities by the 31 March 2027 migration deadline.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of customer service, account management, implementation, and project coordination expertise, complemented by a solid understanding of API integrations. They are comfortable managing a high volume of customer interactions, proactively driving initiatives, and diligently following up on actions to ensure migration milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.

• Proactively contact customers via phone, Teams, and e-mail.
• Verify whether customers have successfully activated and logged into the new portal.
• Support customers with first-time login and onboarding activities.
• Conduct follow-up communications until successful onboarding is completed.
• Track customer readiness and ensure migration completion before 31 March 2027.
• Act as a primary contact for strategic 3PVs throughout the migration process.
• Communicate migration requirements and reinforce the 31 March 2027 migration deadline.
• Define and agree individual implementation timelines with 3PVs which allow customers to migrate on time.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and follow-up meetings.
• Coordinate technical API onboarding support and liaise with internal subject matter experts.
• Escalate risks that could jeopardize migration completion by the deadline.
• Maintain detailed migration trackers covering customer status, actions, risks, and next steps.
• Document all customer interactions, decisions, commitments, and implementation milestones.
• Provide weekly migration status reports and structured progress updates.
• Highlight customers at risk of missing the migration deadline and recommend mitigation actions.
• All assigned customer migrations completed by 31 March 2027.
• Deliver the successful migration and onboarding of approximately 500 portal customers and 20 strategic 3PVs.
• Success will be measured by customers actively shipping through the new IT platform, while maintaining and safeguarding existing volume and revenue streams.
• Migration risks identified early and actively managed.
• Accurate and up-to-date migration tracking and documentation.
• High level of customer engagement and responsiveness throughout the migration process.
• Transparent and regular status reporting to the client and project stakeholders.
