Python Test Automation Engineer (Test Case Maintenance & Deployment)

Project overview

Contract role in Gdansk for a Python-focused test automation engineer to maintain and extend automated test cases and suites. The work includes tracking and analyzing existing test cases, investigating failures/issues, reporting automation status, developing new automated tests from documentation, and safely deploying new test versions without disrupting internal activities. The engineer will also set up/configure the tool environment, run suites day-to-day, improve automation workflows, and produce automation/test guides and suite reports.

Python scripting/application development is required; familiarity with Jira/Git and Intel tooling (HSD, GTA) is a plus, as is leveraging AI tools to assist development.

Responsibilities

• o Tracking and analyzing current test cases
• o Investigating issues & maintaining existing test case issues
• o Reporting status automated test cases and test suites
• o Consume test case documentation and development of new automation features, or implementation of new test cases
• o Extending existing test functionalities
• o Leverage existing AI tools and functionality to assist in development
• o Setup & configuration of tool environment
• o Safe deployment of new tests/versions without interfering with Intel internal activities & commitments
• o Extending existing test suite functionalities
• o Deploying improvements to automation workflows
